All GWCU members are warmly invited to our in-person Annual General Meeting (AGM) for 2021/22, on Thursday 16 March at the Engine Shed, Station Approach, Temple Meads, BS1 6QH, 6pm - 7.30pm (refreshments from 5.30pm).
We’re really excited about the opportunity to meet our members again face-to-face, but for those of you who are unable to attend in person, we’ll also be livestreaming the event online, using Zoom.
In the AGM you will hear from the Directors and staff team, be able to ask questions and find out more about GWCU. We will update members on our growth plans, how the economic situation and cost-of-living crisis has affected us and our experience emerging from the pandemic.
Members will also be asked to vote for volunteer Directors of the board of GWCU.

For election
Lewis Ryden is standing for re-election to the Board for his third term. Lewis is currently Chair of Board and a member of the People Committee.
Clare Coyne is standing for re-election to the Board for her third term.
Denis Lindsay is standing for re-election to the Board for his second term. Denis is also currently Chair of the People Committee.
Simon Taylor is standing for re-election to the Board for his second term. Simon is also currently Chair of the Risk Oversight Committee.
Stepping down
Jo Bailey-Watson (Vice-Chair) stood down during 2022. The Board wish to thank Jo for her contribution to GWCU over the years and chairing of the Audit Committee.
How to join the meeting
To join the online AGM please email us to register your interest. You will need an email address to be able to join the meeting.
We will send the meeting details just prior to the meeting to all those who have registered an interest in attending.
If you are streaming the meeting and wish to ask a question, you must email your questions by 14th March 2023 to be sure your question can be answered at the AGM.

Getting to Engine Shed
Engine Shed is located at the bottom of Station Approach Road, right next to Temple Meads Station.
The venue is a 2-minute walk from Temple Meads Station.
If you plan on driving, keep in mind that Engine Shed is located within the Bristol Clean Air Zone. To check if your vehicle will be charged, have a look at the Bristol City Council checking tool.
The venue does not have parking so have a look at Parkopedia for parking nearby.
