Tired of the same Saturday morning cartoons? Make it a movie morning with Vue’s Mini Mornings where movie tickets are only £2.49 on Saturday and Sunday.
We know how expensive it can get when eating out with the family, but if you want to treat yourselves on a budget, check out your local restaurant deals that offer these discounts during the half term. Bristol and the surrounding area
M Shed is once again hosting the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition, which showcases the breathtaking diversity of the natural world. Entry for children is free, with adult tickets priced at £7.
If you are near Weston-super-Mare, be sure to check out Glow at Grove Park which runs from 17-19 February. Discover wondrous light installations, interactive activities and stunning spectacles in a magical, sensory experience for the whole family. Tickets are pay-what-you-decide and need to be booked in advance.
Bristol Light Festival returns for its third year, from the 3-12 February. Catch the gorgeous installations at different locations in and around the city centre. Not only is it a fun scavenger hunt for the kids, but it will be sure to tire them for bedtime.
Dorset
Rainy day or just too cold to be outside? The Oceanarium in Bournemouth is the perfect place to take cover while exploring the deep blue sea. Tickets are just under £30 for a family of four, but you could save even more by using Tesco Clubcard points.
Red House Museum and Gardens in Christchurch is hosting a Dinosaur trail, for just a £1 and no booking required. Not only are your kids learning about the extinct giants, but the outdoor venue also allows them to get some sun and exercise!
Bascombe Baptist Church have organised a Family Fun Day on Saturday 11 February. For just a £1, kids can enjoy games, crafts, face painting and a bouncy castle.
Gloucestershire
If you’re looking for a good bowling deal, visit Tenpin on Tuesdays for 50% off kids and adult tickets. The deal starts at 6pm during the school holidays and tickets start at £3.50 for kids and £4.28 for adults.
If you have an artsy child waiting to unleash their creativity, ceramic painting is not only great activity, but they get to keep their creations at the end of it. Pick a Pot and Paint in Cirencester has pots starting at just £5, for a 90 minute session.

Wiltshire
