Better Food joins the growing list of Bristol Credit Union's Employer Partners
Bristol Credit Union is delighted to announce that Better Food has joined its Employer Partnership Scheme. Employees of the Bristol-based food business will now be able to benefit from ethical borrowing and savings with the money staying in the local economy.
As part of the scheme, it is made easier for employees to develop good money habits by setting up regular savings through payroll. The savings accounts are used to help provide ethical and affordable loans at competitive rates to local members. Lower cost, ethical loans have a positive impact on the city too with more money staying and being used within Bristol directly and supporting independent business. Importantly, any surpluses which are made are reinvested into the credit union or returned to members as a dividend.
Better Food joins a growing list of local businesses which are signing up to the Employer Scheme and passing the benefits on to their employees including Airbus, Bristol City Council, Bath and North East Somerset Council, Knowle West Media Centre, Sustrans, the Soil Association and many more.
