1. PROMOTER: This promotion is operated by Bristol Credit Union Limited, registered no. 597C, with registered office at 112-114 Cheltenham Road, Bristol BS6 5RW. References to “we”, “us” or “our” in these terms and conditions are references to the promoter.
2. OPENING AND CLOSING DATE: This promotion opens on 30 November 2020 and closes on 13 December 2020 at 23.59 Any entries made before the opening date or after the closing date will not be valid and will not be entered into this promotion.
3. ELIGIBILITY: You must be over 18 to enter the competition and live in Bristol Credit Union's competition membership area which is: Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset. Competition is not open to members of BCU staff, volunteer Directors or their immediate families.
4. HOW TO ENTER: You must complete the ‘My Christmas Hero’ nomination form and opt-in to updates from Bristol Credit Union. Only one entry per person.
5. PRIZE: The prize consists of one £100 Co-op Gift Card for the prize winner and one £100 Co-op Gift Card for their nominee. We may substitute or change the prizes for a prize of an equivalent or greater value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so but there will be no cash alternative.
6. WINNER SELECTION: The winner will be drawn at random within 7 days of the closing date of 13 December. The judge's decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
7. NOTIFICATION AND DELIVERY If you win, you will be notified by email, within 7 days of the closing date of 13 December. You will be asked to confirm an address within our membership area (see rule 3) for delivery of the prize and the address of your nominee. You will receive your prize by recorded post. If you cannot be contacted within 72 hours of the draw or if you don’t have a postal address in the qualifying area then we reserve the right to select a new winner at random from all other qualifying entrants.
8. AGREEMENT TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Entry to this promotion shall constitute your acceptance of these terms and conditions your agreement to be bound by them. These terms and conditions take effect immediately upon entry to the promotion.
9. USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION TO ADMINISTER PROMOTION: We will use your data to subscribe you to our updates (you can unsubscribe at any time) and for the purposes of administering this promotion. USE OF PERSONAL AND OTHER INFORMATION FOR PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES: By entering this promotion, you agree that if you win we, may use your entry, name, and any testimonial you have provided to us, for promotional purposes (including on our websites, social media, or within promotional emails). 11. Sharing your content: We might ask for your permission to share your nomination across our social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and our website. If you are happy for us to do this, we will only share your first name.
12. CANCELLATION OR WITHDRAWAL OF PROMOTION: We reserve the right at our absolute discretion to withdraw or cancel this promotion without prior notice and without liability to any party if it becomes necessary to do so.
13. NO ENDORSEMENT BY THIRD PARTIES: This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with Facebook. Entrants are providing their information to the promoter and not to Facebook. Entrants agree that Facebook shall have no liability in respect of this promotion.

15. RELEVANT LAW: This promotion and these terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts if any dispute arises.
